Destination Vancouver needed compelling copy that did more than list landmarks. They wanted words that invited, enchanted, and—above all—converted curiosity into foot traffic.

My role was to write web copy that captured the city’s rich scenes (like arts and culture), eclectic neighbourhoods (check out Commercial Drive), and that impossible-to-bottle Vancouver vibe.

Working closely with the in-house team and external design partners, I developed neighbourhood spotlights and adventure pages that brought the city to life. I executed a consistent voice that balanced polished authority with a wink of local charm. From the offbeat streets of East Van to the waterfront serenity of West Coast patio dining, each story-led section gave the audience a reason to visit.

My favourite line? “Eclectic and electric, East Van’s culture is the marriage of creativity and community.”

The result is a website that not only promotes tourism but also champions Vancouver’s identity.
